Sarang Wildlife Sanctuary has been supporting and leading efforts of environmentally responsible and sustainable tourism practices in Nepal. Since the early 2000´s Sarang Wildlife has been conducting adventure operations in remote areas of the Terai. These habitats are threatened by population and environmental pressures and in need of sensitive management.

Besides working with various stakeholders to protect and conserve the natural habitat of Chitwan National Park, Sarang has a close relationship with the locals and Tharu villages. A close partnership with the locals helps us sustain the environment and the habitat that is vital for everyone’s survival.
